Spanish Golf Federation
När jag kom hit till Spanien fick jag direkt kontakt med många golfare och nu har jag också ett medlemskap. Jag har fått fina spanska brev, som jag inte kan förstå ett ord av, eftersom allt är på spanska, plus medlemskort!
Denna text har skrivits av PGA Professional Joe Dean:
- Real club de Golf Campoamor was chosen as the venue for our first “federated” event. This means that the 20 odd players that took part had to be members of the Spanish Golf Federation.
- Recently the Federation made some changes to the rules for maintaining a player’s handicap, players must now play in 4 “Federated” competitions per year or the player’s handicap is “suspended”. As you may know that isn’t easy here on the Costa Blanca, because the courses in this area do not organise many (if any).
- This is just one of the many benefits of becoming a member of “El Paraiso”, because we are organising at least one “federated” competition per month on different courses.

Jag fick tips om att gå med i ”Golfklubben” Club de Golf El Paraiso. Det är en klubb utan egen bana som arrangerar tävlingar på olika banor i närområdet här där jag bor. El Paraiso erbjuder sina medlemmar bl a stora rabatter på greenfee.
